Summary of Island Park
ISLAND PARK is a fishermans paridise in the summer as well as in the winter with spectacular ice fishing. Henry's lake produces 13 inch to 24 inch and occasionally 30 inch trout; cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout. Fifty percent are natural sponners. You can float with guide services or stream fish, troll with your own boat or float tube.

Island Park Reservoir is very similar to Henry's lake game fish. You'll see moose, elk, bear, and even an occasional bison as you fish in the various areas available.

If you enjoy scenery this is the place for you. Mountains, valleys, rivers teaming with trout, waterfalls, and grassy meadows filled with wild flowers and wildlife.
There is an abundance of walking trails. You may be interested in seeing this beauty by horseback. Its an easy way to explore this vast country of beauty. There are many horseback rides available which range from 1 to 3 hour tours. Don't forget your camera. Mountain biking is a very popular sport in Island Park and we have designated trails just for that purpose.

Island Park has hundreds of miles of groomed trails. You can rent snowmobiles or take guided tours throughout this winter wonderland. These snowmobile trails give access to mountains rising more than 8,000 feet in elevation. Follow the trail to the renowned Two Top for great hill climbing and powder bowls.
A trip to Two Top is a must see for any snowmobile enthusiast. There are over 40 miles of groomed cross country ski trails from Island Park to Harriman State Park system. If you do not have you own equipment it is readily available for you at many locations in Island Park.
