Once we have the cabins in place it is time to work on the landscaping and curbside appeal.
The cabins will be skirted and a watering system placed to care for new pine trees flowers and other landscaping. We have a fishing pond that needs to be developed to handle fish so they won't die.
We will build a dozen picnic tables and several picnic gazebos to put throughout the property.
We are in the process of possibly getting a couple of teepee's for some tee pee tent sites. This will also be seen from the road.
We will also build some bathrooms and a small laundromat for the facility.
We would also like to put log fencing & two entry gateways by the roadside, But we probably wont be able to do this until next summer because of so many other items that need attention before the winter cold sets in again. Island Park's building season is very short.
We would like to put bee lights(white lights) in some of the pine trees for a inviting glow in the evening hours. The lights will be put on a timer.
Also we will sandblast our sign so the color matches the cabin and is decorated accordingly.
