August 2019 Yellowstone trip

The cabin was cute and fit my family of 5 perfectly. It was nice that it was close to a grocery store. The only thing I would like to have something to sit next to the fire pit on. The logs they had were rotting and full of ants so we never had a fire. Other then that it was a great cabin.

Charming Blue Stone

The cabin is very charming and very spacious for our family of 5. The only complaint was the small shower upstairs. The beds were comfy and the kitchen and was roomy and easy to navigate. Could use more baking pans to accommodate 2 pizzas. Highly recommend getting groceries in West Yellowstone because the grocery into the subdivision is small and does not carry a lot and it is very expensive.

Successful Sister's Reunion

This cabin was very cozy; it was clean, cute, and comfortable. We found the cabin easily with the directions. It is centrally located and the perfect spot for a home base. The washing machine came in handy after a day at the hot springs. The cupboards were organized and user friendly. Everything was provided except the food. The only problem we had was we couldn't get the BBQ to light. We told the property managers and they had an easy solution for the next occupants. I definitely scored points for finding this little gem. We had a great time and would definitely rent this property again.

Clean, comfortable and convenient! Is what the Bluestone Escape offers.

My family has stayed at the Bluestone Escape, three times over the past few years. I would recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for great place to stay while visiting the West Yellowstone Area. (The drivetime from the Idaho Fall's Airport into the Island Park area is an easy 90+/- minutes.) OK, now for the truth! about visiting West Yellowstone, the actual town is a tourist trap, it is best to drive into town, visit the Grizzly/Wolf Exhibit, get a bite to eat, do some shopping, then head into the park. Old Faithful is just a short drive in from the west entrance. Upon departing the park, you can stay at one of the many hotels, upon hotels, upon hotels or you can do as we have done, stay just a short distance outside the park in Island Park Area at the Bluestone Escape Cottage. Bluestone Escape is located next to the Island Park Resort, this is an upscale area and conveniences such as gas and groceries are right there. If you are a snowmobiler, this area offers some of the BEST SNOWMOBILING in the USA. I could not begin to put on paper how outstanding both the on trail riding and off trail deep powder riding is! That you will have to experience for yourself. Do not hesitate on renting this clean, comfortable and convenient cottage best known as the Bluestone Escape.

Fishing get-away

There is nothing greater for a trip out west than staying at Bluestone Escape. The proximity to Uncle Tom's Cabin, West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park makes is an ideal and convenient location to spend vacation time. The cabin appears slight in size from the outside, but inside the cabin is spacious, roomy and well equipped to handle either a large family gathering or an intimate escape for the boys. In addition, the local establishments offer an opportunity to stock on food supplies, gas or a fine steak dinner only minutes from your front door. We are looking to make a trip to Bluestone an annual event.

Very Satisfied Pittsburgh Visitor

The cabin is new, modern, very well furnished. The inside was incredibly beautiful and very clean. Everything we needed was provided. The atmosphere provided an excellent cabin feel with all of the modern amenities of home. The location is easily accessible yet in the heart of nature. Wild moose, beautiful streams and miles of trails are within walking distance. Yellowstone is a short drive away. This is a phenomenal cabin that I will return to.
