Very nice Island Park stay

Great location and convenient for Island Park activities. Some OHV traffic close by, but not intrusive. Very happy with the cabin, only complaint was the dishwasher didn’t work properly (perhaps hard water issues?). This are advertised for the property which is why I dropped the rating a bit.

We did enjoy our stay was surprised to see maintenance there fixing the dishwasher and having to use a vise grip in the shower but other than that it was wonderful. The shower handle broke prior to our stay which was unfortunate.

We came over for our first full family trip to Yellowstone

We came over for our first full family trip to Yellowstone! When we saw the cabin we were all so excited! Our family loves the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing and are all part of our summer fun. This year we were so excited to come see gorgeous Yellowstone. We wandered through West Yellowstone on our first day. We have a family tradition where we look for Christmas ornaments whenever we travel. We found two Scandinavian looking ornaments. We got to see the Grand Prismatic hot pools, which were my personal favorite. The smell was interesting though. Everything was so beautiful. We even got to see a heard of Elk and Bison.

Wonderful Vacation

We came here with our 4 kids and had such a wonderful time. The location is perfect, close to activities but secluded so we had privacy and could enjoy time at the cabin. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything we could need to make for a super enjoyable and easy vacation. If we ever come back to the Yellowstone area we will definitely try to stay in the Buffalo River Retreat again! Thank you so much for a trip that our family will remember for years to come!

I grew up with a cabin in Island Park and it really meant the world to me to be able to stay here again and share it with my husband and children. Your cabin was exactly what we all wanted. It was peaceful and serene. We had a wonderful time!

Loved our stay

We LOVED staying in this cabin! It is gorgeous, the neighborhood is quiet and it was a great way to escape the craziness of the world right now. We hope to come back one day to finish exploring Yellowstone, and hopefully we will be able to stay here again. Thank you!
