Sleeping Arrangements

Main level bedroom with one queen bed and easy access to a full bathroom.
Second level includes four private bedrooms, each furnished with one queen bed.
Loft area includes one full-size futon and two twin beds.
Maximum occupancy is ten guests.

Living Areas

The main living room includes comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace, and satellite television with a DVD player, creating a welcoming space to relax after a day outdoors.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, and modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Dining includes a table that seats eight and a kitchen island with seating for four.

Bathrooms

The cabin includes three full bathrooms. One is located on the main level with a tiled shower, while two shared bathrooms are located on the second level, each with tub and shower combinations.

Important Information

Exterior security cameras are installed for safety purposes. This property does not include air conditioning. Pets are not permitted, smoking is prohibited, and camp trailers, RVs, or tents are not allowed. A crib or Pack ’n Play is not provided, so guests traveling with young children should plan accordingly.

The cabin is located approximately 29 miles from Yellowstone National Park’s West Entrance and about 15 minutes from Island Park Reservoir. The wooded setting provides privacy while still offering convenient access to town amenities and outdoor recreation.

Great Cabin

We really enjoyed this cabin! It comfortably slept 12, the kids loved the loft area. The only negative thing I can say is the chairs on the deck looked weathered and some appeared to be broken. Other than that, it's a great cabin! Beautiful, great location and fully stocked kitchen.

Perfect Cabin

We have rented this cabin three times, and just love it! cabin is nice and roomy, it's in the trees and close to everything like trails, water, etc.

Totality

My family of 14 came to see the eclipse in Rexburg. To sum up Jakes Place was the Total package! We had an amazing time! So comfortable and relaxing.

Great cabin near Yellowstone

Our family really enjoyed our visit to Jakes Cabin. We loved sitting in back and roasting marshmallow's over the fire pit. The deck was huge and two swings on it. The kids and even a few adults enjoyed the swings. It is exactly as pictured. We had a terrific stay and love being close to Yellowstone. We will consider staying again.

Very nice place for large family

The cabin was great, the kids loved the two swings and the loft area. The kitchen was nice. The only negative was the neighbors were a bit close and nosy. Several family members saw moose on the roads.

Nice place in the woods

Very clean and well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items, etc. Nice to have the internet, WiFi and DIREC TV when roughing it. Lacks a grand vista but it does have a nice feeling of staying in the deep woods.

Could have stayed another week

We had a great stay at Jake's Place in Island Park. The cabin had just about everything we would need for our stay, with lots of chopped wood for the fireplace. The cabin was spacious and warm and inviting.

Wonderful Cabin

We had a great stay at Jake's cabin. It is as nice as the pictures looks. We loved sitting on the deck. The deck has 2 swings that my children were on whenever we were around. Quiet and convenient location. We will be back!
