Perfect cabin in the woods

We loved our stay at this cabin. It is far enough away from the roads to feel secluded but close enough to be very accessible. Our family group of 19 people has stayed in Island park for a winter retreat for several years at another cabin. For the 2020 get together, the cabin we usually stayed at was not available so we found this one and it is an instant favorite. Everyone loved the hot tub and the pool table. The kitchen is spacious with lots of counter space. The built in bar seating was fantastic. The kids also loved the loft. The river is a short walk from the cabin and in the winter time the trumpeter swans are close by. Very serene to listen to the honks of the swans in otherwise complete silence. Two washing machines and driers is a very nice touch with so many people. There is a convenient store just 5 minutes away or a nice little grocery store less than 15 minutes away. There is also a great drive thru soda/coffe shop that has amazing treats only 5 minutes from the cabin. We loved our stay and hope to be back for our next get together.

House was great and big. Lots of bedrooms for our families. Beds are hard and old and creaky. Bring your own pillows as they are very big and bad for your neck. Basement smells like mildew.

The cabin had enough room for 23 people to sleep comfortably. The four floors were perfect for small groups to play in. The kitchen was supplied with a crockpot, blender, coffee maker and plenty of plates.
